My productivity level has slipped lately. I’m still getting things done, just not as quickly or effectively as I would like. In an effort to curb this behavior, and improve myself, I’m gonna try to follow some basic guidelines starting tomorrow…

  • Wake up and GET OUT OF BED at a decent hour, instead of the usual whenever-the-hell-I-want time.
  • Shower and dress in publicly-acceptable clothing immediately after waking, rather than the boxer shorts I hang out in until sometime after lunch.
  • Eat a healthy breakfast and take my vitamins while browsing email, news, and Tumblr - vs. skipping breakfast and catching up on the web nearly every waking moment of the day.
  • Create a blocked schedule for the day to assure optimal productivity, including any entertainment or social activities I might have planned.
Will this jump-start my productivity? Damn, I hope so.
