I like to think that my background in media and the study of audiences is a HUGE asset in my job, especially because I’m usually working to “impress” an audience somehow. Outside of my coursework though, I spent nearly all my time working as a stage manager for theatre productions—this was key to finding out more about production, becoming more fluent in technical speak, and learning how to always expect the unexpected.
